Is Third Room Accessible?
Yes, we are ADA compliant. And if you have specific questions about accessibility, please reach out to info@thirdroom.art.
What are your hours?
Doors for performances are typically between 7pm-9pm. Shows typically start between 8pm-10pm.
Do you offer food?
No, but there are dozens of restaurants within walking distance. Downtown Asheville offers a plethora of cuisine. We will also try to have a food truck outside of the entrance when possible.
Where are you located?
We are located at 46 Wall Street in downtown Asheville.
Where do I park?
The Wall Street Garage is located directly across from Third Room. Street parking is also available for free after 6pm Monday-Saturday and all day on Sundays.
POLICIES & RULES
Age Restrictions?
During our art gallery hours, we are open to all-ages. 11am -4pm, unless otherwise specified.
Most performances are 21+unless otherwise stated. Our calendar will list age restrictions for each performance and will offer the most up to date information.
Can I bring a bag?
Yes, but no large bags or backpacks are permitted inside the venue. Smaller purses and bags are permitted and will be searched upon entry.
Dress Code?
Third Room requires that you wear a shirt, pants/dress/shorts, and shoes. The rest is up to you! For our themed parties, we highly encourage you to dress up.
What is your photo policy?
Cell phone cameras and small cameras are permitted unless otherwise posted. We do not allow cameras with zoom or detachable lenses unless the Artist(s) is okay with it and typically, they are not. Exceptions include press photographers with prior approval from the Artist(s).
Do you have a coat check?
Yes, during late fall and winter we offer a coat check.
Can I leave and come back during a show?
No, unless otherwise specified.
What kind of ID do I need to drink at Third Room?
According to the North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, we are allowed to accept only four forms of identification as proof of age for the consumption of alcohol. The NC law reads as follows: “Acceptable forms of identification are driver’s license, North Carolina special identification card, passport, and military identification card. Businesses reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated or underage. GS 18B-302, 18B-305” Any guest who presents an out-of-state ID card is marked with X’s and is not allowed to purchase or consume alcohol while at the club. We will allow entry to a show with an out-of-state ID, but we will not allow that person to use it as proof of age for drinking at our bar.

Why do I need an ID? I’m not going to drink.
Most events at Third Room are 21+ or 18+ and an ID will be required for entry. For all ages events, we will not require an ID.
During gallery hours, an acceptable form of ID must be provided to the bar staff in order to purchase an alcoholic beverage.
I’m not 18, can I attend a show with a parent?
No, if it is an 18+ show, you cannot attend with a parent.
Where can we smoke?
We have a smoking area outside of the entrance of the venue.

Don’t worry, we closed it for you and automatically added 20% gratuity.
Can I bring my own water/water bottles?
No liquids are permitted. You cannot bring outside liquids in the venue. Medical water will be permitted for health conditions. Please show Doctors note.
Are posters allowed?
Poster tubes allowed. Paper and cardboard tubes only.

Are tickets required for Third Room during art gallery hours?
Unless otherwise stated on our socials or on our website, entry during gallery hours is free.
How do I buy tickets?

Are tickets available at the door? Do you have a box office?
Yes, tickets are available at the door as long as the performance hasn’t sold out.
The show is sold out, will you be releasing any tickets?

Someone else is buying me tickets online, how can I pick them up at Will-Call?
Ask the person who is buying you tickets to electronically transfer them to your Tixr account. You may need to create a Tixr account if you have not already done so.
I can no longer attend the show. Can I get a refund for my tickets?
No.

Yes, we offer a variety of beer, wine, cocktails, elixirs, and other non-alcoholic drinks including sodas and mocktails.
Do you offer Third Room merchandise?
Yes, we offer merchandise at our venue and you can purchase through our website www.thirdroom.art
How do I submit my art for inclusion in your art gallery?

When will the show end?
Most shows end by midnight during the week. Friday and Saturday night shows, the curfew is 2 am.
How did Third Room start?
Third Room is artist founded and artist operated. It is a collaboration among many Asheville creatives who all share the same vision – to create a community portal, a creative space, a place to dance and play, and a place to share and discover.
